Anglorand Securities choose MCi

MCI Consultants today announced that Anglorand Securities Ltd had successfully embraced MCI’s locally-developed web-based Portfolio Management System, PortCIS, which is now offered to their clients on a ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS) basis.

“Our first client to adopt this solution has now been successfully live for several months,” commented Jan Rabbets of MCI. “The web-based PortCIS system allows portfolio managers to model portfolios, calculate performance, and view a list of client transactions and personal details from anywhere, anytime”.

“MCI fully understands our requirements and continues to work closely with us at all times. This development and model is very much in line with global trends and allows our portfolio managers to view their client’s portfolios from anywhere worldwide” commented Yulindi Taljaard of Anglorand Securities.

PortCIS is just one part of a suite of applications that MCI have developed for the financial services sector and is being utilised at a number of organisations. Other systems include TradeCIS, which incorporates the JSE rules and legislation and facilitates trading on the JSE, NetCIS, a web-based solution which integrates with TradeCIS and Mobile Trading applications which provide streaming market data and online trading capabilities for wireless platforms.
